DESCRIPTION Due to planned growth in our graduate program of studies, we are now seeking for an experienced and motivated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) leader to join our leadership and faculty team as a coordinator of the MSN-PMHNP program and MSN-PMHNP post-masters certificate. The PMHNP coordinator will provide leadership in teaching, service, and scholarly activity. Our Masters level curriculum emphasizes innovative and evidence=based practice to meet demands of the increasingly complex healthcare delivery, improve patient safety, and quality of delivery. Our faculty are committed to the education of future PMHNP who are competent and qualified to deliver safe and high quality of care. POSITION SUMMARY The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Program Coordinator is a member of the faculty who will oversee the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program seated and online. The PMHNP Program Coordinator is the primary point of contact for all programmatic and academic matters of the MSN-PMHNP program providing leadership, management, and guidance to the PMHNP faculty. The PMHNP Program Coordinator is responsible for day-to-day program operations for the PMHNP program. The PMHNP Coordinator will also work with faculty to plan, develop, implement, teach, and evaluate classes in the nurse practitioner curriculum and support students toward successful program completion. Additionally, this position works with the Director of Graduate Programs to ensure the fiscal wellbeing of the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program as it relates to education and helping to maintain/grow enrollment. The successful candidate will be required to maintain clinical currency. The salary range for this position starts at $90,000 annually.
