Job Summary

Serves as a point of contact for Maintenance & Operations by purchasing supplies, answering inquiries over the phone and in person, directing messages, and/or contacting the appropriate person.

Job Duties:

• Serves as a point of contact for Maintenance & Operations by answering inquiries over the phone and in person, directs messages, and/or contacts the appropriate person whether an immediate emergency, maintenance issue or custodial issue.
• Enters all maintenance and HVAC work orders.
• Purchases maintenance and custodial supplies, office supplies, and postage. Tracks budget for Maintenance & Operations. Enters BA8's, tracks credit card monthly limits, and balances BA8's to statements monthly.
• Schedules usage, tracks mileage, gas receipts, schedules preventative and routine maintenance for college vehicles. Ensures that insurance and other paperwork is current.
• Maintains files on purchases, safety training, and SDS sheets, all licenses, and inspections. Puts surplus equipment on govdeals.com Schedules pick-up for Biohazard waste disposal.
• Checks, logs, and verifies all incoming packages as well as sorts the mail.
• Responsible for inventory to include: tracking, tagging, change of locations, and filing.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate degree (related field) and one-year related work experience or equivalent. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office; possess excellent customer service, as well as strong written and oral communication skills. The successful candidate will have experience handling confidential information and possess a strong work ethic and problem-solving skills. Must be detail-oriented with an ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and the ability to work independently or as a member of a team. This position requires a high level of professionalism and initiative, as well as the ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure, and adjust to changing priorities.
