Department Name: MG100: Physician Based ClinicsJob Summary: This position serves as the primary liaison between the patient, clinic, and provider to ensure that all aspects of patient care, scheduling, and paperwork are completed. Incoming calls are triaged by the degree of urgency for all locations, doctors, and referring offices. Assist the patient by fielding patient questions during operating hours and determining the necessity for medical appointments, prescription refills, or other care as required. Assesses patient concerns and provides education and advice over the phone and via Epic MyChart. Provides accurate documentation for a variety of patient care activities, acting as the liaison between the patient and their physician.
