Department Name: H3330:Pharmacy ServicesJob Summary: The Pharmacy Senior Technician assists pharmacists in providing medications to patients in an inpatient hospital setting by compounding and preparing non-sterile products and participating in the delivery of comprehensive pharmaceutical care. The technician will be responsible for patient specific medications as well as controlled and non-controlled substance delivery to Pyxis machines, as well as making deliveries to and from central pharmacy. Additional responsibilities include Pyxis medication management, telephone calls, and Epic message queue. Areas of service include the Pediatric Satellite Pharmacy.
