Department Name: H3200:Laboratory ServicesJob Summary: The Medical Lab Technician/UKHC will be responsible for assisting in the pre-analytical support for a fast-paced academic medical center. The Laboratory provides services to all aspects of the Level I trauma center and throughout the healthcare enterprise, including solid organ and bone marrow transplant, KY Children's Hospital, and Markey Cancer Center.This position is in the Central Processing/Receiving department within the Clinical Laboratory and the Processing/ Receiving Department with the Emergency Department Laboratory.
