Animal Care Technician I
Department Name: 40832:Laboratory Animal ResourcesJob Summary: Completes primarily simple and routine animal caretaking duties; and as requested by Group Leader or Supervisor completes facility care including cage wash and animal care activities which may occur up to 70% of the time of overall job duties and responsibilities. All actions are completed by strictly and consistently following applicable DLAR SOPs including safety procedures and guidelines. Reports any suspected or actual deviations to SOPs or non-routine situations immediately to Group Leader or their Supervisor. Arrives, leaves and takes breaks at work as scheduled. Strictly adheres to DLAR attendance policy.
