The Financial Aid Counselor position reports to the Associate Director of Financial Aid. A full time, full year position, the Counselor position provides education financing and financial aid application services to prospective, current and former University students and families. These services are delivered in a manner that affirms the dignity of all constituents through personal service that is accurate, confidential, consistent, empathetic, equitable and just. In addition, the Counselor position provides administrative services for the processing of financial aid for all prospective and current students. The Financial Aid Counselor works as a hybrid between the Student Services Assistant and the Assistant Director in reviewing and processing all aspects of federal, institutional and departmental aid to ensure quality advice and aid for students.
